But it was destroyed in a fire at my home where I lost almost everything. Also sometime in the 80's I attended a Family reunion in West Chester, PA. This was the very first connection I had with our true family decendants past my grandmother, Elsie Burton Elias. At that reunion I discovered family relationship with a family I grew up with down the street from us growing up. |

| Comments: | Let me try to get this right: My grandmother was a Weldon. If I'm not mistaken, her grandmother and grandfather were Mary Gray and "*.* Welburn. I may have that wrong, but will check. Regardless, a bit of recent history - I now live in PA where I am from, but used to live in Seattle. On one trip back east, I questioned my oldest aunt, Aunt Vivie and her third in line living sister at the time, Aunt Cinnie; "who was the white woman on the wall in the portrait?". Aunt Vivie informed me that she was Mary Gray, an antecedent. This portrait still exists and is in great shape. If you don't have it in the photo archives, perhaps I can photograph it and send it in. It is quite interesting. |

But, we booked a room and ventured out to meet family anyway!!! We can go to the website and order our T-shirt, and we didn't eat any food while we were there!! We only attended the opening night Friday, and there wasn't much to eat that night!! We did get to see some family. And a lot of family stayed at the Flagship Hotel, so we got to see family the whole weekend!! I'm sure that if we attend the Reunion in 2010 we'll pay our $$$$$ on time, we wouldn't want security to escort us from the Reunion!!! Still had a good time in Ocean City MD....... Peace |
